Oven Baked Oyster Mushrooms Serves 2 | 15min
This recipe is one which we made up and has turned out to be a real hit.
This crumbed mushroom recipe works great for those GIANT oyster mushrooms (from our monster blue variety).
They turn out crispy, juicy and tender.
Ingredients:

Directions:
- Pre heat oven to 180 °C
- Line oven trays with baking paper
- Trim and clean all the mushrooms
- In a large bowl mix together bread crumbs, paprika, garlic powder, thyme salt and pepper.
- In another small bowl, crack and whisk the egg

Now we are ready to crumb our mushrooms!


- 1st is to add 1-2 mushrooms (depending on size) to soak in the egg, work it into the gills and make sure all areas are covered in egg
- one at a time remove the egg coated mushroom and dip into bread crumb mixture, cover the mushroom and lightly press into the crumbs do both sizes for even coverage
- lay out on baking tray spaced out by 1-2 cm, try and keep similar sizes mushrooms on the same tray
- once the tray is full, place in pre heated oven
- sit back for 30-40min or until crispy golden brown, enjoying the delicious smell of baking mushrooms
*The bigger the mushroom to longer it will take to cook*
Once baked let stand for 5 min outside and enjoy as a healthy snack, or a great entrée
