How to make the perfect Reishi tea?
- Reishi mushroom (Ganoderma lucidum ) Slices x 3-4 (8 grams)
- Water x 1L
- Honey to add to taste
First, place 5 slices of Reishi in 1 litres of water in a stove top kettle and simmer for 3 hours (remember to check the water level at least every hour).
Then, let it stand for 1 hour so that the flavours can really infuse into the water.
Once it's finished brewing, you may find it has a strong bitterness (this is normal) so add some additional water and/or honey if you find the taste to be too strong.
